Award Winning Metal Sculptor

In Waynesville, NC; The Haywood County Arts Council’s, Gallery 86 will host an exhibition called, “Fire & Ice: Pottery, Glass, and Metalwork” beginning Wednesday, January 16 through Saturday, February 9, 2013. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 10am-5pm. Gallery 86 Exhibition, An artist’s reception will take place on Friday evening, January 25 from 6-8pm.

Grace Cathey’s Sculpture Gallery and Garden is located inside 1928 Historic Walker Service Station at: 136 Depot St, Waynesville, NC 28786.

Grace enjoys custom orders for homes, gardens, memorial and public art. She sculpts primarily in steel and does many nature sculptures.

Grace is seen on HGTV: That’s clever (episode 256), Rand McNally Atlas: (Editor’s Pick), Our State Magazine and Southern Living Magazine. Her work has been shown in numerous places including the Smithsonian in Washington DC and in the NC Museum of Science.

Grace has public sculptures in Hendersonville NC, Morganton NC, Cherokee NC, Chimney Rock State Park and Waynesville, NC.
